How to enter

Entries to the equine and livestock classes are now open and must be submitted online.

Entry methods
Online Chevron

Entries will only be accepted online. The system is very quick and easy to use and once you have made an online account, it will remember many of your details. You will automatically receive an email receipt for your entries so you know they have reached the Show Office. The email receipt gives details of the entries made – this is your record of which animals have been entered in which classes. There’s no need to worry about letters getting lost in the post and you will also receive an acknowledgement for your money paid from Sage Pay.

Step-by-Step Guide on how to enter online Chevron

1) Click the ‘ENTER HERE‘ button at the top of this page which will take you to the entries site.

2) Click the ‘Entries‘ button with the picture of a cow. This will bring up an index of the sections we have available at the Show. (NB: If you have previously entered online with us and have an Account, please login to your account in the top right corner before you begin your entries, as many of your details will be saved in your account and you will not need to re-write them).

3) Click your section and scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will find a list of sub-sections/breeds.

4) Click the relevant sub-section and once again, scroll to the bottom of the page where you find a list of classes.

5) Click the class you would like to enter, which will take you to the online entry form.

6) Complete the entry form fields (mandatory fields are highlighted in red), then click ‘Add to Basket‘.

7) Repeat for all classes you would like to enter.

8) Once you have added all class entries, click the Extras/Stabling tab and add any additional vehicle passes, stabling/penning requests, extra wristbands etc to your order.

9) Click the ‘My Basket‘ icon in the top right of the screen, which will take you to your basket. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and check you have added everything you require.

10) Once happy, click the ‘Proceed With Order‘.

11) If this is your first time entering online, then you will need to register for an account. Please input your details and click the ‘Proceed‘ button at the bottom of the page.

12) There is a mandatory First Aid charge which will be added to your basket automatically, please ensure you have not added this to your basket manually, or you will be charged twice. Click proceed.

13) Please check your order and read the Show Regulations for your sections, then click ‘Secure Online Payment with SagePay‘. You will need to tick to confirm you have read the Regulations before proceeding.

14) You will now be taken to the Secure Payment Gateway where you can pay for your entries online, just like a normal online transaction.

15) Once payment is complete, you will receive an automatic email with a copy of your order and an email confirmation from SagePay to confirm your transaction.

Notes to consider when making your entries
Breed Societies – Membership Chevron

Many breed societies require that you are a member of their Society in order to enter their breed classes/competitions at this Show.  The conditions at the top of each section in the Equine Prize Schedule should explain any membership requirements.  If you are unsure as to whether you need to be a member of a particular Society OR which Society you need to be a member of, then, please contact the RNAA Show Office or the relevant Breed Society.

Some breed societies will accept membership on a day ticket basis. However, should you qualify for a final/championship, they will normally insist on full membership before the final/championship takes place.

Membership and registration numbers Chevron

It is essential that the various breed society information/registration numbers are stated on your entry form for exhibitor, owner, rider and horse (where requested). Details of each entry have to be approved and validated by the individual societies prior to the Show and before ticket packs are sent to exhibitors. Breed Societies will reject entries if the requested information is not correctly entered or omitted.

Horse of the year show (HOYS) Chevron

Competitors entering Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) qualifier classes are required to detail their HOYS ID numbers on their entry form. If you have not got a HOYS ID then these can be created quickly and easily on the Grandstand Entries Website.

Availability of classes Chevron

All entries are subject to availability. Entries are processed on a date received/paid for basis. Some classes have a maximum number of entries allowed, so we advise entering as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
